JANANPACHA was born as a source of artistic and cultural expression with the objective of giving life and purpose to the Ecoguerreras: a collection of surrealist paintings with a feminine and environmental theme by Peruvian artist Vito Loli. These women are guardians and protectors of nature, they are the symbol that represents the “hero” that we all carry inside.
JANANPAPACHA began as a cultural exhibition and has evolved into a socio-environmental purpose that seeks, above all, the common good, through the promotion of creative industries, the protection of biodiversity and the care of the environment. It has been, is and will be valid through all its expressions.
Thanks to the interventions and joint work with different creative and scientific disciplines, it has become a brand to promote entrepreneurship and cultural projects.
JANANPACHA is also an intercultural-multidisciplinary exhibition that educates, not only Peruvians, but all citizens of the planet to ensure the protection of Peru as a World Heritage Site. Therefore, the main objective of Jananpacha is to make Peru a World Heritage Site so that all our descendants at an international level can experience Peru in its full potential.
The planet and Humanity are at this very moment reaching a limit of no return so it is the right time to activate all events, activities and programs to meet our goals.
Climate change, the greenhouse effect, the pollution of our seas, the melting of our snow-capped mountains and the extinction of our planet’s flora and fauna have no boundaries. All species living on Earth, including humans, have a common destiny. Saving the planet is no longer a mission, but an obligation. Every conscious being should become a social Eco-warrior.
Peru, for having the privilege of having almost one hundred microclimates, natural reserves, geographic diversity and incalculable biodiversity, should be the first to be ready for these challenges.
