Our host, Erika Schaefer Cuculiza, has an extensive background in the audiovisual field and in environmental activism. She was a model and figure of several important brands in the 80’s and 90’s, making more than 150 TV spots. In 1987 she was elected the first Mrs. Peru and was a finalist in Mrs. World 88. She specialized in cultural management and production, performing plays in the Taij Group, video clips, fashion shows, beauty contests, press conferences, books, as well as other artistic-cultural projects and events in Peru and abroad, such as Jananpacha.
In 2007, together with her husband, mother and sister, she founded the NGO Tierra y Ser (www.tierrayser.org), (which she has chaired for 17 years), dedicated to saving lives in natural disasters, environmental care, recycling and social support. She is also a businesswoman/entrepreneur in innovation, created the design StartUp Vito Loli Patterns (www.vitololipatterns.com) and represents visual artists such as Vito Loli (www.vitololi.com). She has written books and stories related to environmental care such as ¨Killa Punchay and the Ecoguerreras¨. Today she is also General Manager of the company Biz Street S.A.C. (www.bizstreet.org).
Rocio Jaramillo Ortiz was born in Piura. She was Miss Piura and also Mrs. Peru Universe in 2018. Since then she has been a professional model, TV show host, master of ceremony for beauty pageants and the face for many products. She considers herself an ambassador of Peruvian culture and especially Piura. Communicator by profession with a great trajectory and management in promoting the culture especially in the north of our country.
Since 2021 she participates in the conduction of programs of the bicentennial celebrations that were broadcast on TV Peru from Piura. He has recorded video clips. She participated as a speaker in international forums on women’s rights in the Philippines and the Dominican Republic.
Today she is host of the programs “Enganchados” and “Punto Fusión”.
